Your new role
As an Assistant Property Manager, you’ll support a Portfolio Manager for general operational and administrative support. You’ll Oversee accounts receivable and collection of any outstanding charges and tracks delinquencies until received or account delivered to legal/collections . You’ll prepare aging reports and comments on a monthly basis
while assisting Property Managers in preparation of monthly client reports, annual operating budgets and CAM reconciliation . You’ll review tenant billback invoices, rent increase letters and statements for accuracy before delivering charges to accounting and lease administration.
What you’ll need to succeed
You’ll ideally have 3+ years of COMMERCIAL property experience as an APM or Administrative Assistant and have experience with property management databases and interpreting lease clauses. You’ll have experience coding invoices for payment through the Payscan process in Yardi. A college degree is preferred but not required. You’ll have past experience in Microsoft Office and be a self-starter.
