The APM position plays a key role in increasing value of the asset by providing residents with a professional, well run community. To accomplish this goal, the managers responsibilities include; strategy and oversight of leasing vacant apartments, facilitating successful lease renewals, oversight of rent collection, budget creation and adherence, managing customer service inquiries and requests, coordinating paperwork between tenants / customers / corporate office, overall property training and coordination of maintenance and cleaning of the building and grounds.
This position has the following requirements; availability to work weekends, basic computer skills, ability to understand apartment rental and collection practices, have reliable transportation, be professional and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. We’re seeking someone with outstanding customer service skills who will take great pride in making the tenant or potential tenant their top priority. Applicant must be physically able to lift 25 lbs., climb stairs, walk between buildings, stoop, kneel and bend, have hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Yardi software experience a plus.
