Local Tampa Bay real estate/property management company is seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager who is highly motivated, team player with the ability to work in a fast paced environment. The Assistant Property Manager is responsible for effectively computing, classifying and recording numerical data to keep financial records complete while assisting with the leasing, marketing and resident relations. The entrant will perform any combination of routine calculating, posting and verifying duties to process resident rental payments and obtain primary financial data for use in maintaining property accounting records. Provide productive and ongoing contributions towards maintaining occupancy and customer satisfaction at a premium level.

Responsibilities included but not limited to:

  • Collect, process, and deposit all income receipts
  • In charge of completing Final Account Statements
  • Promoting marketing online
  • Responsible for the oversight of the leasing team and training of staff
  • Process notices to vacate & /file evictions as necessary and all necessary associated collection/legal activities
  • Walk vacant and inspect ready unit as necessary
  • Maintain the Resident Renewal Program
  • Assist the Property Manager to ensure policy and procedures are followed
  • Answering telephones
  • Working delinquencies
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
  • A minimum of one year experience as an Assistant Property Manager
  • Must possess strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrate an ability to support and contribute to team.
  • Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Competence in operation of telephone, business calculator, copy machine, facsimile, personal computer/keyboard, Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and MS Outlook and business software.
  • Must possess a positive attitude
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Demonstrate ability to diffuse and respond to customer concerns to avoid escalation of the problem.
  • Attendance is an imperative job function
  • Completion of leasing paperwork
