WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager for a large multi family residential property in the Bradenton, FL area.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide leadership and guidance to the staff in the absence of the property manager
- Assist in the daily operation of the management office and administrative duties following established Company procedures and guidelines.
- Collect rent from residents and post into software. Process all applicable deposits, rents, and other fees and ancillary revenues collected.
- Assist property manager with filing evictions and utility cut-offs
- Greet prospective residents and show apartments
- Screen prospects, and close the lease by obtaining rental application and deposit
- Perform administrative assistant functions including but not limited to: record keeping, filing, mail collection and distribution, word processing, data entry, maintain and replenish office supplies, and other essential needs as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Prior experience in multifamily residential property management
- Apartment leasing experience
- Must be outgoing with good networking and interpersonal skills
- History of maintaining high occupancy, low turnover, and low delinquency
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws pertaining to property management
