JOB SUMMARY:

Our Assistant Property Manager plays an integral role in the success of our team, our community and creating a place our residents are proud to call home. You will be responsible for providing unparalleled service to our residents by assisting in the coordination and orchestration of the day to day operations of our multi-family apartment community. Act as a liaison between management, site staff and residents in absence of the Community Manager.

You are a strong communicator, with solid organization skills and adept at working within various software systems. You are a quick learner and a leader who understands how to deliver value and profitability to the Community. You should also expect to:

  • Assist the Property Manager with ensuring the community is meeting occupancy goals, utilize marketing strategies to secure prospective residents, create/maintain follow-up procedures, and promote a Community Outreach Program
  • Assist in maintaining vendor/contractor communications concerning scheduling, billing, and vendor relations, and process invoices in a timely manner
  • Assist with resident concerns and requests and consistently implement policies of the community
  • Oversee the payment collection process and ensure that the community is meeting delinquency standards
  • Must be knowledgeable of all phases of leasing and resident retention
  • The ability to express yourself clearly and logically both orally and in writing

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Must have sufficient computer skills that will allow you to use, in a proficient manner, all company issued software programs.
  • Be a self-starter and able to work independently
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Position prefers 1 year of experience of on-site property management
