Must have Tax Credit (as it relates to Property Management) and Public Housing Experience
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Main job function is compliance of Tax Credit Files
- Tours and leases apartments as necessary.
- Help with rent collection efforts, specifically with delinquent residents. This may involve lease termination and legal action if necessary.
- Maintain the accuracy of resident ledgers and files as needed
- Inspects apartments during move-in and move outs, walking apartments and the community as needed.
- Fills the role of acting Property Manager in their absence.
- Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
*This position is located at a Tax Credit property. Two years of prior experience working with affordable housing and tax credits is strongly preferred*
JOB SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:
- Effective communication and customer service skills
- Computer literate, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Internet navigation skills are required
- General office, bookkeeping and sales skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in Yardi property management software or other similar property management software preferred
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role at a tax credit/affordable property strongly preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 – $19.00 per hour
