A Commercial Real Estate Company located in Tampa, Florida is currently seeking an Commercial Assistant Property Manager. Candidate should be able to manage a portfolio with multiple retail centers. Must work well in a fast-paced, team oriented, deadline driven environment. Florida Real Estate License required or MUST be obtained within three months of employment. Overnight travel required.

Qualifications Required

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Florida Real Estate License Required or MUST be obtained within three months of employment
  • Reliable transportation for traveling to client sites
  • Clean driving record
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience in retail property management is a plus
  • Experience with MRI and Yardi is a plus

Duties to include, but not limited to:

  • Monthly Property inspections
  • Monthly reports, including financial accountability
  • Manage all tenant and vendor communications
  • Manage owner communications, including monthly conference calls
  • Tenant retention oversight
  • Tenant documentation management
  • Lease administration, enforcement and compliance, including working knowledge of the following:
  • Defaults
  • Certificates of Insurance
  • Gross Sales
  • Accounting coordination including a working knowledge of the following:
  • Defaults
  • Rent ups
  • Annual Reconciliations
  • Budgets
  • AR/AP Coding and Approval
  • Collections
  • Cash Management
  • Property Tax Appeals
  • Vendor coordination and oversight including service agreements, bidding and insurance requirements
