Assistant Property Manager
Clearwater, FL

We are a leading property manager with a portfolio of more than 30,000 units of high-quality housing. We are now seeking an Assistant Property Manager to join our team in Clearwater.

As the Assistant Property Manager, you will be responsible for helping with the leasing and administrative functions of one of our properties in Clearwater.

In this key role, you’ll verify and certify resident files, as well as assisting with tax credit evaluations. You’ll prepare contracts, leasing agreements, income changes and housing assistance payment adjustments.

Additionally, you’ll build strong relationships with residents to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction is achieved.

Job Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

– Tax credit and public housing experience
– A strong operations background
– Customer service experience gained within a hospitality or similar customer-facing industry
– Knowledge of state and federal regulations
– A high level of IT literacy
– Good spelling and grammar skills
– The ability to perform accurate mathematical computations
– The ability to assist with all aspects of leasing and day-to-day property functions
– The ability to build and maintain positive relationships with residents, the community and city agencies

Flexible and self-motivated, as an Assistant Property Manager, you must also be highly organized with strong written and verbal communication skills. A great eye for detail is key, as is the capability to make tactful, considered judgments.

Ideally, you’ll have a social services background, but this isn’t essential.
