Industrial REIT with an existing 3,900,000 SF portfolio is a seeking an Assistant Property Manager to join their Tampa office.

Major responsibilities:

  • Assist with budget preparation of annual budgets, monthly reviews, and quarterly budget revisions.
  • Run A/R reports weekly and track delinquencies. Call or prepare reminder letters to delinquent tenants and prepare default notices.
  • Code invoices daily for property manager to review and approve.
  • Maintain lease and property files.
  • Prepare monthly rent increase correspondence.
  • Assist with tenant inquiries and log and track all service calls.
  • Set up new vendors with the accounting department.
  • Track and maintain tenant HVAC maintenance and vendor/tenant insurance compliance.
  • Perform annual property environmental inspections.
  • Report to Senior Property Manager.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors of Arts or Science Degree is preferred.
  • 2-5 years property management experience within commercial real estate is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Yardi experience is a plus.
  • Understanding of general accounting and finance principles/concepts.
  • Basic math, research, customer service skills are needed.
  • Ability to work independently and to prioritize work requests.
  • Communicate professionally and appropriately with representatives of outside firms and with other employees.
  • Provide prior or current work references.
  • Ability to start immediately.
