Position Summary:
The Assistant Real Estate Manager is an entrepreneurial, detail-oriented individual that will assist and support the Director of Real Estate and Vice President of Real Estate in the acquisition and development of real estate deals pertaining to the Southeastern United States.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist with site identification for acquisition or development for National retail tenants
  • Research tenant and sites within various markets throughout the Southeast
  • Create and update tracking reports for projects
  • Learn and assist in the preparation of proformas
  • Manage schedules for the Director and VP of Real Estate
  • Verify consultant billing against contracts
  • Create Letters of Intent based on financial data given from Director or VP
  • Work collaboratively with Director and VP to create fresh ideas to meet corporate goals
  • Perform lease and contract comparisons
  • Must be able to file and organize project documents
  • Attend conferences as needed which may require overnight travel
  • Order Supplies for the office and conferences
  • Create marketing documents for real estate tours
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management or related field is required. Higher education preferred
  • 2+ years of Commercial Real Estate, leasing, or construction experience is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
  • Desire to learn and grow within the real estate development field
