| JOB TITLE : Assistant Recruiter
LOCATION: Lutz, Florida
PAY RATE: $10.00 per hour
WORK HOURS: Mon-Fri, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Job purpose :
Achieves staffing objectives by assisting the recruiter in recruiting and evaluating job candidates. This person is expected to be highly motivated and organized. This position may require travel to multiple locations.
Assistant Recruiter’s Key responsibilities:
- Assists recruiter in building applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport.
- Attracts applicants by attending career/job fairs, placing job advertisements; contacting recruiters, using newsgroups and job sites.
- Assists recruiter by verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements.
- Arranges interviews by coordinating schedules.
- May assist in evaluating applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with Recruiter; interviewing applicants on consistent set of qualifications.
- Improves organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices; emphasizing benefits and perks.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
- Accomplishes human resources and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
- Assist in Workers Comp reporting, meetings and negotiations.
- Assist in other areas of business as needed.

- Good Judgment & Organizational Skills
- Experience in Human Resource field or Recruiting experience or working towards an Associate Degree in Human Resource – A Plus
