Supporting the Company in evaluating its space requirement and developing its global real estate footprint is Citi Realty Services (CRS), a corporate shared services function. CRS engages Citigroup businesses and works in partnership with internal and external functional disciplines to deliver effective work spaces, with a focus on maximizing utility that benefits our businesses and our shareholders.
The Real Estate Financial Analyst is a key member of the CRS team working on North America Region real estate initiatives.
Job Description:
The Real Estate Financial Analyst will have primary responsibility for driving the end-to-end delivery of real estate analytics, which includes (1) reviewing proposed transactions (lease/buy, consolidation/disposition, sale and leaseback, and location strategy); (2) developing pro forma financial statements (cash flow and income); and (3) articulating the key drivers and economics of the proposals to respective stakeholders, up to senior leadership. Additional responsibilities to include:

Preparing executive papers

Assisting with financial reporting

Partnering with internal stakeholders (asset/transaction/project/finance/business managers)

Ensuring compliance with Citi policies and practices

Conducting peer work reviews

Enhancing CRS’s Excel-based financial modeling tools
Qualifications
Qualifications:
-
5-8 years of work related experience.

Working knowledge of Finance principles
-
Interest in developing financial models to drive business decisions; actual modeling experience preferred

Familiarity with real estate transactions a plus

Technical proficiency with Excel (VBA programing and database management skills preferred)

Demonstrate excellent communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills

Ability to drive results with a sensitivity to meeting tight deadlines

Self-starter; works with minimal supervision and sometimes with limited information

Proven leadership skills and ability to collaborate with partners

BS degree in a technical field of study (e.g. Finance, Accounting, Real Estate)
