Overview**

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Associate Attorney to join our well-established small Clearwater law firm . The ideal candidate will be a Florida licensed attorney with a clean bar background and 1 to 5 years of litigation, business, real estate law, estate planning, and probate practice experience. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for supporting senior attorneys in the aforementioned practice areas, conducting legal research, and providing exceptional client service. Pay will be commensurate with actual experience.

**Duties**

The Associate Attorney’s duties include but are not limited to:

– Conduct legal research and analyze relevant cases, statutes, and regulations;

– Assist senior attorneys in managing the existing case load, working with clients and staff, and developing new clients;

– Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents;

– Represent clients in various legal proceedings, including litigation matters;

– Handle complex legal cases, including civil litigation, probate litigation, business matters & collections, and real estate litigation;

– Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to achieve client goals;

– Provide estate planning and other legal services as needed;

– Develop and maintain a strong understanding of legal principles and practices; and

– Maintain accurate and detailed records of legal cases and client communications

**Qualifications**

– A Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

– A strong academic record and a license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction

– Proficiency in the firm’s practice areas

– Experience in litigation and negotiation

– Excellent legal research and writing skills

– Strong analytical and communication skills

– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

– Commitment to providing exceptional client service and building long-term relationships with clients

– Familiarity with law office software and technology

– Strong organizational and time management skills
