SUMMARY
The Associate CAM will serve as a ‘CAM in training’ under the leadership of the General Manager. An Associate CAM supports a team of community management staff through timely completion of assigned administrative and project duties. The goal is to train the Associate CAM to be in a position within 12 – 18 months to be able to obtain a CAM license from the Florida DBPR.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES include the following
- Understand and carry out the terms and conditions of the Management Contract.
- Understand and follow the Association’s Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws
- Attend board meetings as required by manager.
- Records management, collect and report statistics as required
- Process and track invoices
- Implement standard operating procedures that are consistent with the culture.
- Interface regularly with internal customers and external vendors and clients.
- Take client calls, manage irrigation work orders, interact with vendors, and resolve client matters.
- Maintain an organized workspace according to company procedures

- High skill levels in oral and written communication and the interpersonal skills required to react positively with other staff/ employees, property owners, volunteers, vendors and representatives of other organizations.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, etc.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required, which would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
TRAVEL:
No travel is expected for this position.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Community management experience preferred but not required
- Willingness to obtain CAM license within 12-18 months of employment
