Local Government Attorney, Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority (“LYNX”)
The Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority is accepting applications for the position of Associate In-House Counsel with a minimum of three years of experience in the practice of law. Experience in local government law is preferred. This position will report to and assist the Senior In-House Counsel with providing counsel and routine legal advice to the Chief Executive Officer, management and their staff with an emphasis on: procurement, contracts, public sector liability, labor and employment matters, Sunshine Law and Public Records, Federal Transit Agency (FTA) Regulations, sovereign immunity, practice and procedures before local government legislative bodies and internal agency policy development. Salary will commensurate with experience, in addition to an excellent benefits package. Must be a member of the Florida Bar.
