Due to continued growth, our Power Delivery group is seeking an Associate Project Manager to join our team working in Tampa, FL.
Responsibilities (including but are not limited to)
Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to established schedule and within budget
Under supervision, develop and maintain project schedules, project management plans, project quality plans
Manage assigned project staff to ensure project requirements are met
Ability to understand and work with budget and accounting processes
Supports development of detailed project reports
Be responsible for proposal creation
Understand project financials and be able to report regularly to management on financial status
Foster and maintain working relations with assigned clients, act as a single point of contact for assigned projects.
Manage client interactions and negotiate / control project scope to client and the company’s satisfaction.
Aggressively support marketing efforts, including identification of new opportunities, proposal preparation and follow-up.
Required Qualifications / skills 
B.S. in Engineering or equivalent from an accredited university and 4 years’ experience, or PMP (Project Management Professional) or CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) Certification and 6 years of applicable experience.
4 years’ experience in engineering, construction, or related field.
Knowledge of engineering or construction work process.
Ability to understand and work with budget and accounting processes.
Excellent organizational, time management, writing, communication, decision-making, and presentation skills.
Effective oral and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to work across disciplines and teams.
Ability to successfully negotiate on behalf of the Company on project-related issues, services, and change orders
Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to travel between 15-25% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs, ranging from a few days to a few weeks. 
Preferred Qualifications / skills 
Experience in Power Delivery is highly preferred
Contract experience or experience successfully negotiating contracts is preferred
MS Project or P6 experience
Willingness to get PMP

Ability to pass a pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings, ENERCON and client specific background checks, and annual motor vehicle record (MVR) according to company and client procedures
