This position requires that the applicant be bilingual.

  • Leasing Consultant are required to handle the leasing process on the property, including qualifying prospects, answering the telephone, obtaining an appointment with the prospect, showing the property and leasing available
  • Specific duties include:
  • Greeting
  • Touring model or market ready
  • Accepting applications for
  • Checking to see if application is
  • Making sure prospect understands deposit
  • Determining move-in date and unit
  • Collecting deposit and application
  • Verifying
  • Making recommendations to Property Manager about desirability of
  • Completing Apartment Lease and Addendum’s.
  • Property Manager to
  • Explaining lease to
  • Making entries to computer and/or status reports, of
  • Completing all move-in
  • Move-in package, lease expiration, rolodex

  • Move-in condition
  • Collection of any deposits or rent due before allowing occupancy.
  • Ledger card or computer information initiated to include:
  • Lease beginning and ending
  • Amount of rent per
  • Deposits required including
  • Names of all

  • Assist in preparation, call-in, faxing and mailing of weekly
  • Maintaining accurate rolodex
  • Lease
  • Contacting resident sixty (60) days prior to lease

  • Handling phone calls from residents concerning maintenance requests.
  • Writing works orders.
  • Handling follow-up.
  • Filing work orders.
  • General duties also include:
  • Answering telephone.
  • Checking with answering service for messages.
  • Distributing mail.
  • Maintaining courteous and helpful attitude to residents and prospects.
  • Accepting rent and following up on delinquencies as directed.
  • Maintaining files as needed.
  • Following owner and management procedures as directed.
  • Responsible for seeking educational opportunities and self- improvement for personal growth and development.
  • Additional duties include:
  • Conduct outside marketing to local businesses on a weekly basis.
  • Assist in marketing plans.
  • Assure models and market ready apartments are open daily and are clean, smell fresh and are ready.
  • All leasing personnel are required to achieve a score of 80% or higher on all Shoppers Reports and must achieve a closing factor of 50% or higher. Falling below these standards may result in disciplinary action.

Salary: $13.00 to $14.00 /hour
