Billing Administrator: This position will provide vital support to the billing team by acting as the liaison between Customers, Sales, Credit & Collections, and the Billing Department for all requests. This person will handle important administrative tasks, incoming calls, researching, updating spreadsheets used for SOX documentation and tracking, along with submitting billing issues and adjustments for approval. 

Must be able to work accurately and with great attention to detail. The right candidate must have excellent communication skills as they will be working with other departments providing service to both internal and external customers.

Qualifications

  • Good organizational skills to coordinate and prioritize tasks
  • Intermediate user with the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with Sales, Peers and Customers
  • Capable of conducting independent research and work autonomously
  • Familiarity with the industry is a plus
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent  

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the maintenance of billing worksheets
  • Data Entry and assistance with daily sales order edits
  • Managing communications with sales and assisting with billing disputes and discrepancies
  • Review documents for the creation of billing adjustments
  • Work to improve the processing time of invoicing, credits and rebills, this position will maintain open communication with all departments 
  • Maintain accurate records and updates for process improvements
  • Provide customer service and respond to customer inquiries
  • Working closely and act as a liaison between sales and billing
  • Responsible for being the company’s online Customer Portal administrator
  • Indexing daily sales tickets in OnBase
  • Assist with inventory batch preparation and posting into the system
  • Act as backup for processing and posting billing batches
  • Assistance with scanning SOX billing documentation
