EBS Financial Services is responsible for providing Fixed Asset (FA) accounting services to various Lockheed Martin business areas/units partners.

This is an individual contributor position primarily responsible for ensuring timely and accurate capitalization, transfer, maintenance and retirement of fixed assets as well as the calculation of appropriate depreciation of those assets for both financial and tax purposes. This position reviews and validates capital expenditure request (CER) and work-package setups, posting entries to the general ledger and transferring assets via IBS. This position is responsible for account reconciliations, construction- in- process aged analysis, asset future depreciation forecasts, and various ad hoc reporting requests. Additional responsibilities include maintaining, analyzing, and troubleshooting related accounting issues and transactions, asset accounting analysis and reconciliation. This position will work closely with business units to provide status and resolve issues independently. This position may be involved in the migration and transition of assets from one fixed asset system to another in support of business realignments.

This position will be responsible for enhancing customer relationships by understanding customer expectations, objectives, goals and requirements. This is a fast paced, challenging position where the candidate must be a proven high performer and quick learner. The candidate must be able and willing to support and meet tight deadlines on a continuous basis while staying focused on internal and external policies and procedures. An ability to work effectively both independently and in a supportive, diverse team environment is expected.

The candidate will be expected to master various systems. The candidate will also be expected to maintain required financial controls and to support audit as necessary.
