We are looking for an experienced Billing Specialist to undertake a variety of billing tasks for our membership site. This position will also entail several general administrative tasks.
Our ideal candidate has exceptional oral and written communication skills and extremely detail orientated. You should be a ‘people person’ with great customer service skills and the ability to moderate online and offline conversations with our community. Must be able to provide our clients with a top-notch customer service experience. Must be highly detailed and organized.
[This is NOT a medical coding position] Responsibilities
- First on incoming calls for customer support
- Research and resolve client billing problems or issues
- Call customer when credit card declines
- Retain members that request to cancel
- Create and send invoices
- Monthly reporting
- Mailing gifts and handwritten notes to current members
- Resolve customer inquiries via helpdesk and online chat
- Manage Facebook groups
Qualifications
- Superior phone skills- there is a lot of phone work in this position
- Excellent customer service skills and phone manner
- Ability to manage stress in a fast-paced environment
- Highly organized and detailed oriented
- Ability to work through task lists
- Technical skills are required and the ability to figure out tasks
- Willingness to learn and ability to self teach
- Highly resourceful and self-starter
