Position Overview:
The Property Management Bookkeeping and Administration Specialist is part of the team that is responsible for the accounting related functions for Properties, Owners, Tenants, Vendors and the Company and acts as the “go to person” for all accounting related activities. Also responsible for system set up and training. Collaborates with internal team members and with third-party companies used for accounting, reconciliation functions and operations systems. Additional responsibilities include reviewing agreements/contracts for accuracy, completing payroll, financial reporting and creation and upkeep of all training and process documents. They communicate with all parties on an as needed basis for accounting, compliance, training and system related questions.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with incoming calls, email and follow-up on accounting related matters
- Receive, log and post incoming funds from tenants, owners and vendors
- Complete bank deposits
- Review, enter and initiate payables
- Review leases, agreements and ledgers for compliance and accuracy
- Review and complete final move out accounting for security deposit dispositions
- Complete annual owner and vendor audit and prepare tax documents (1099’s, 1042’s, cash flow statements, etc.)
- Review and process monthly corporate credit card and expense statements
- Process bi-weekly and monthly payroll
- Assist with monthly bank reconciliation of Trust and corporate accounts
- Assist with creating budgets and projections
- Complete monthly financial management reports
- Assist with the onboarding of new hires
- Acts as the subject matter expert for all company systems
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements

1-2 years related experience in bookkeeping and office administration
Degree in business (minimum of Associates in accounting, finance or related field)
Property management or other real estate experience is a plus
Well versed in accounting fundamentals

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package including health/dental/life/vision/PTO and more. Hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
