Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant
Payitiv is looking for an experienced fulltime Bookkeeper to manage our day-to day accounting. Confidentiality, excellent organizational skills and accuracy are required.
Job Description and Responsibilities
- Report directly to CEO and prepare written reports
- Create and examine financial statements, to ensure that they are accurate
- Compute taxes owed, prepare tax returns, and ensure that taxes are paid properly and on time
- Compute and Report Payroll
- Creating budgets
- Monthly bank reconciliations
- Inspect account books and accounting systems for efficiency and use of accepted accounting procedures
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and QuickBooks.
- Organize and maintain financial records
- Reconcile clearing credit card accounts
- Record journal entries as needed
- Assess financial operations and make best-practices recommendations to management
- Suggest ways to reduce costs, enhance revenue and improve profits
- Ability to explain findings after thorough review of account books and accounting systems
- Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelor’s Degree or Work experience in accounting or related field.
- Organization, Accounting, Data Entry Skills,
- Spreadsheet and financial software knowledge (Excel, QuickBooks )

- Attention to Detail, Thoroughness,
- Reporting Research Results,
- Verbal Communication
Experience:
- Accounting: 4 years (Required)
Compensation: 40k – 50k per year + Profit Share and Full Company Benefits
