Company Overview
Bee Studios is an award winning full-service residential interior design firm specializing in remodeling and new construction. We also have a specialty in kitchens, baths and functional spaces and the Principal Designer is a Certified Master Kitchen and Bath Designer (CMKBD). We provide our clients full service interior design, kitchen and bath design, cabinetry, furnishings, and window coverings. Services from conceptual design, materials selections, detailed drawings, product specifications and procurement, design management, and final staging/ styling. We also work side-by-side with General Contractors as a design/build approach.
Bee Studios is looking to add a Part Time Bookkeeper to our team.
Position Overview
The Bookkeeper position will manage the financial side of the business, interacting with the design team, clients, and vendors, and providing reports to the Owner. The ideal candidate for this position is highly organized and detailed, has a positive attitude and is a team player, has strong experience with Quickbooks Online, and knowledge of Microsoft Suites (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
We are a small growing business and as all small business, things change often. Willingness to do what is asked and provide support to Owner with all aspects of the financial and administrative side of the business. The position is offered as Part Time.
Job Details
- Manage Accounts Payable
- Manage Accounts Receivable
- We use accrual based accounting, strong knowledge of pre-paids and partial pay on open POs
- Project tracking in Quickbooks Online
- Work closely with Project Coordinator on Purchase Orders, ensuring bills are paid for open POs
- Follow project statuses in ClickUp (Project management tool)
- Provide Financial Reports to Management
- Pay Sales Tax monthly
- Monthly Bank and Credit Card reconciliations
- Daily bookkeeping
- Track internal sales sheet in excel
- Post Designers tracked time for client billing
- Gather documents for year end taxes with CPA
- Maintain W9s and File 1099s for vendors
- Maintaining Company files- Digital and Paper files
- Office Admin is keeping the business operations functioning: order office supplies, responsible for studio building making sure utilities are paid, trash is picked up, ensure insurances are paid and current, request and ensure insurances are current for vendors, answer phones, various administrative tasks. This is not a management position.
Job Requirements

- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to work at the St Petersburg studio location
- Part-Time position 24 hours
- Schedule: Monday – Wednesday, 9-5
- This is a professional client facing studio so professional work attire is required as you will interact occasionally with clients in the studio
