Harvard Pacific is a growing full service commercial real estate firm. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced individual to lead business development efforts for Harvard Pacific 3rd party management services and secondarily, assist in property management capacity. The position requires independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize responsibilities in order to meet multiple deadlines, while interacting with a diverse group of colleagues, clients, and service providers.

Marketing

  • Promote Harvard Pacific in the community.
  • Marketing of 3rd party services (develop marketing plan, prospect list, cold call, track implementation)
  • Understand the target markets, including industry, company, project, company contacts and which market strategies can be used to attract clients
  • Manage the creation of proposals, presentations, and other client-facing materials
  • Oversee collateral marketing material (cultivate website, marketing material)
  • Create flyers and broadcast emails.
  • Perform market research.
  • Identify and communicate market trends, opportunities and competitive threats
  • Manage/update postings to various Social Media websites (Twitter; LinkedIn; Blogs)
  • Participate in and contribute to weekly marketing meetings.
  • Lead the development of a tailored ‘win strategy’ for each pursuit
  • Participate in client meetings / presentations and lead presentation prep sessions
  • Lead /oversee pricing and contract negotiations
  • Track all activity using a sales management database
  • Complete post-mortems (win or lose)
  • Target = $1m in net new revenue annually
  • Attend industry events (NAIOP, ULI, CCIM), apply for recognition awards, stay abreast of industry trade journals, maintain relationships with local brokers, lenders, contractors, and design professionals. Produce marketing presentations and proposals.

Property Management

  • Oversee financial functions for projects, including:
  • Preparing and revising property budgets,
  • Managing quarterly budget reviews including reconciling all variances,
  • Reviewing and approving all invoices for projects,
  • Prepare weekly leasing and TI/capital improvements progress updates, and
  • Work with property manager to administer day to day operations for clients, tenants and vendors.
  • Work with property manager and maintenance team to insure buildings and grounds are maintained according to property objectives.

General Office

  • Keep management informed the projects’ status and information required by all involved in order to assure timely progression of projects assigned.
  • Perform any needed general office tasks required for office day-to-day operations.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and statistical analysis software
  • Must be available to work after hours and weekends as needed.
