Job Description
We’re hiring for a Full-Time Business Office Manager to work Full Time Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm shift at our Opis Fairway Oaks Center in Tampa, FL.
The ideal candidate for the business office manager role is someone who is a caring individual that is dedicated to making a positive impact on their customers, and who have a desire to learn and expand professionally in a supportive, collaborative environment.
Business Office Manager primary responsibilities include :
- Ensures systems and controls are in place as outlined in policy and procedure manuals. Meets established daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines for all business office functions.
- Puts Customer Service First : Ensures that customers and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individuals’ needs and rights.
- Provides customers with accurate and timely information in a customer service-oriented manner regarding their Center account.
- Oversees and assists with the job duties of the Welcome Coordinator regarding new admissions / re-admissions and Medicaid applications and the Central Billing Office team members.
- Meets with new admissions (customer or family members) when sign ins are performed by the backup team (Admission / Social Services) to explain financial obligations and reviews paperwork, audits, and new admission files to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Interacts with customers, families or responsible parties as needed when financial information changes occur.
Business Office Manager Education and Experience Requirements :
- High school degree required, post-secondary and / or training preferred with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Post-Acute Care or Hospitality.
- Coursework in Accounting / Finance is recommended.
- People Management or Human Resources experience preferred
