Arizona College of Nursing is seeking a Campus Coordinator for our Tampa, Florida Campus!

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Provides administrative and clerical support to the School of Nursing administrators, including the Deans.
  • Reviewing prospective student transcripts and admissions documents in preparation for admissions committee review.
  • Ordering transcripts and helping students with file completion
  • Responsible for the efficient and effective organization and operation of all functions of the billing, collection, deposit, disbursement and record maintenance of student and other related monies at the Arizona College School of Nursing
  • Participate in the reconciliation of the Bursar’s Office records with those of the Accounting Office to ensure complete agreement of billing, receipts, disbursements and outstanding receivable records
  • Performs general clerical duties such as organizing, filing, shredding, and photocopying documents; maintains office files, student files, and other appropriate records.
  • Maintains confidential files and processes related documents, including admissions records; and student ledgers.
  • Facilitates special event planning, arranges for catering services, and makes arrangements as necessary.
  • Assists with new student orientation.
  • Provides administrative support by handling information requests, preparing statistical reports, expense reports, purchase orders, memos, letters, and other documents using Word, spreadsheet, database, or presentation software.
  • Serves as department facilities representative (i.e., badging, parking passes)
  • Works with Executive Director when new staff is hired.
  • Serves as point of contact for calls/visitors to the requests, preparing statistical reports, expense reports, purchase orders, memos, letters, and other documents using Word, spreadsheet, database, or presentation software.

Required Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

1. A high school diploma or equivalent
2. Clerical or administrative experience in higher education
3. Strong, organizational, writing, and interpersonal skills
4. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Suite
5. Exceptional degree of professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information and highly sensitive matters

6. Knowledge of and ability to operate and maintain equipment: fax machine, calculator, photocopier, telephone, computer, and printer
7. Exceptional ability to organize, prioritize and multi-task in an extremely dynamic environment
8. Effective problem-solving skills and strong desire to help those who have questions and problems
9. Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar
10. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
11. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and have excellent time management skills
12. Strong organizational skills and capability of managing multiple tasks
13. Typing skills with at least 60 WPM
14. Lift and carry boxes containing student records, reports and office supplies.
15. Update, file, and/or retrieve student files, reports and other related material from files, requiring bending and/or stretching.
