JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Responsible for performing specific and overall support for department.
• Conducts moderate to complex research and analysis of commercial real estate properties, loans and portfolios.
• Scope: Focus on either/or: large vertical or specialty group OR business function group within Capital Markets
• Generates, reviews and understands reports; uses aggregate data from multiple sources to assist in creating a complete analysis, improvement and/or recommendation.
• Prepares presentations and proposals for new business development providing recommendations.
• Assists in the coordination and implementation of strategic platform strategies; performs research and analysis to support those strategies.
• Supports department in varied areas of analysis including one or all of the following: real estate industry/market, management reporting and variance analyses, budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning.
• Provides reports from corporate and vendor databases in support of management and marketing activities of sales professionals.
• Reviews internal and external collateral materials, proofreads content, ensures appropriate branding, and approves materials for final distribution.
• Identifies opportunities for improvements by and among the clients and/or companies.
• Special projects as required and other duties as assigned.
• No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position.
• Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers.
• May coordinate and assign tasks to co-workers within a work unit and/or project.
What You Do
Buyer Registration and Reporting
• Create e-teasers using Campaign Logic to announce deal offerings and key transaction dates
• Track and report buyer interest for current listings and update Salesforce
• Monitor access to Marketplace and assists investors with access to offering materials
Due Diligence
• Organize and catalog due diligence information for transactions
• Establish and monitor online war room
• Interface with investors during the due diligence process and coordinate tenant interviews, site visits, etc.
OM Production and other marketing materials
• Coordinate third-party materials for offering materials (photography, maps, site plans)
• Research tenant business and financial statements to write tenant summaries for OMs
• Research market conditions via various sources (Census, Chamber of Commerce, economy.com current headlines, etc.) to assist team in updating and maintaining metro overviews for offering materials
• Proofread collateral materials
General administrative support, which could include:
• Format Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) documents
• Preparing listing agreements and secure project codes
• Track and submit team expense reports
• Coordinate travel for Sales Professionals
Special projects – as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university and a minimum of 2 years related experience.
• Background in Finance, Accounting, Research and/or Business Analytics preferred.
• Knowledge of Capital Markets industry preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers.
• Ability to effectively present information.
• Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles.
• Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions.
• Conducts basic financial analysis.
• Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents.
• Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations.
• Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite Products including: Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
• Experience with desktop, graphics, and presentation software and technology preferred.
• Ability to use query and report generating tools preferred.
• Decisions made with understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Responsible for setting own project deadlines.
• Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.
