Job Description and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the business relationship and ensure satisfaction within Lincare by providing a seamless interface with business partners
  • Demonstrate leadership, responsiveness, and creativity
  • Provide a lead role in monitoring and increasing business satisfaction while overseeing the accurate and timely completion of tenant service requests
  • Function with a ‘No Surprises’ approach to communication, ensuring that key stakeholders remain informed
  • Manage third-party contractors/vendors engaged in operating and maintaining properties
  • Coordinate discussions with selected vendors or suppliers regarding goal setting, performance criteria, and performance review
  • Develop, manage, and report on facility operating budgets for the assigned portfolio, proactively track variances and manage within the target
  • Develop monthly/quarterly variance reports on all operating budgets for each property on a timely basis
  • Achieve cost savings through maximizing utilization of suppliers, preferred vendors/contractors, and identifying additional efficiency opportunities
  • Maintain employee work schedules, training, vacations, and paid time off coverage for absenteeism and overtime scheduling
  • Support client’s EHS and Business Continuity programs including response, reporting, and remediation efforts

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Facilities Management with management/financial expertise
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of facilities experience required in the corporate environment, third party service provider, or as a consultant
  • Proven record of successfully managing large portfolio and/or multiple sites
  • Required to be proactive, adaptable, and responsive
  • Strong organizational and management skills to balance competing priorities
  • Must be able to manage within budget constraints
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in dealing with and communicating with senior managers internally and externally

Procurement is a key input into the process where the selection of the best suppliers and the negotiation of the best commercial terms are critical to our business success. Depending on the dedicated category requirements, the job holder will evaluate and ensure competitive supplier conditions, minimize the supplier-related risks, and contribute the Procurement related information to the binding offer. As negotiations proceed, and during the transition period the job holder will ensure congruence between the business needs, as well as the supplier terms and conditions. The transition period is often critical to the business case and may be subject to contractual milestones. During the transformation, the job holder will coordinate and drive the procurement work stream and drive the commercial improvement of the supplier contracts, to encourage the sustainable commercial success of all opportunities.

The Facility Manager is results driven and must possess a tenacious desire to deliver flawless execution of facilities services with the highest ethical standards. This employee will lead and oversee the service delivery of the FM team; will be responsible for not only Lincare’s owned HQ building in Clearwater, but also oversee the strategy/operations and financials nationally. Success is measured through the achievement of key performance indicators (fiscal as well as operational) and ensures business partner satisfaction nationally. This employee will manage and lead third party suppliers/contractors and hold vendors to rigorous performance standards; requires a highly motivated and ambitious candidate with a proactive, client-focused mindset.
