The firm is seeking a clerical assistant to join our Tampa office. The primary responsibility of the clerical assistant is to maintain an organized case management system while providing clerical support for the office.
Location:
- Tampa Office
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Opening new files in case management software
- Drafting, proofreading, and editing correspondence
- Charting deadlines contained in orders, pleadings, and new case files
- Saving documentation into case management software
- Submitting correspondence through the use of Florida e-filing portal
- Providing general clerical support for the office, including filing, answering phones, greeting visitors, word processing, researching various matters and helping maintain a well-organized office
Skills/Qualifications
- Ability to work closely and professionally with a team of attorneys and other administrative staff
- Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office applications
- Detail oriented
- Must work efficiently under deadlines
- Client confidentiality
- Strong organizational skills
- Comfortable multitasking
