Job Title : Clubhouse and Amenities Manager

FLSA Status : Non-Exempt

Hours : Full Time (weekends required)

SUMMARY

The Clubhouse Manager provides day-to-day Amenity Center management and Lifestyle services on behalf of a planned-community to a high-standard of service that meets or exceeds our contractual obligations.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Act as an ambassador of the community on behalf of the District and Vesta
  • Monitor the use and condition of the facility.
  • Manage staff to exceptional standards of service
  • Maintain consistent communication with residents, CDD staff, support staff and the Board of Directors.
  • Resolve and take ownership of any related facility issues that may occur. Communicate to the appropriate parties issues that may require additional resources or that which is beyond our expertise.
  • Manage clubhouse room rentals: scheduling, agreements, deposits, security and proper cleaning.
  • Process revenue and invoices to the District on a timely, scheduled basis.
  • Hire, manage, support, help develop, and hold accountable all clubhouse staff.
  • Lifestyle Programming: Create, manage, and oversee special events and activities for children and adults.
  • If needed, speak to targeted, potential sponsors for the lifestyle program (contributions and ads for community newsletter, events, etc.)
  • Process program revenue to Vesta on a timely scheduled basis
  • Promptly return phone calls and e-mails from residents
  • Maintain appropriate communication with CDD staff, CDD Board and support staff.
  • Provide timely communication with residents via e-blast, marquees and newsletter.
  • Issue comprehensive reports to the board related to our scope of services.
  • Resolve resident issues on a timely basis. When necessary, report specific concerns to the District Manager and/or Board on the resident’s behalf.
  • Direct residents to the proper decision makers based on the specific issue.
  • Provide tours of the Amenity Center for new and prospective residents.
  • Ensure the policies and rules of the District are followed.

Attend monthly CDD meetings, and provide a Manager’s Report for same

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

The Clubhouse Manager position supervises the Clubhouse department.

TRAVEL:

No travel is expected for this position.

  • Communication: Express clear and concise written and verbal communication with District staff, residents, board members and Vesta management and staff.
  • Organization: Maintain order and manage systems to ensure necessary workflow, continuity and success.
  • Leadership: Promote a sense of teamwork and direction, lead others toward a common goal(s), and help ensure a fulfilling work experience for the team-members.

EXPERIENCE :

Applicants will ideally have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar field requiring similar leadership, customer service skills and management responsibilities, or an appropriate alternative.

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Competent in Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Current Florida Driver’s License
