Description: The candidate will play a key role in conducting analysis of our 3rd party applications and suppliers as it relates to the client’s Continuity of Business requirements. The role of the CoB Analyst will be to assess Continuity of Business requirements outlined by policy and regulatory requirements associated with 3rd party relationships. The candidate will be responsible for performing analysis of COB capabilities, assessments of our current state and contract commitments for key suppliers, tracking and reporting against gaps and developing and implementing a BAU process for ongoing maintenance of these activities.
The candidate will establish the following under the direction of the Head of CoB Global Governance Oversight Third Party Management:
Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed reviews of third party contract agreements across all Global Products/Functions for CoB aligned Supplier Relationships
- Prepare and present assessment and review findings to management
- Follow up internally (with Business and supporting teams) to ensure critical and high risks are appropriately and directly mitigated Participate in the development/improvements of assessment methodology and tools
- Ensure compliance with enterprise policies and procedures
- Participate on special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery and/or Supplier Risk Management with a strong understanding of Technology Risk Management practices
- Relevant experience at Client’s industry peers is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; solid influencing, facilitation and partnering skills
- Ability to manage expectations and maintain key relationships
- Excellent follow-up skills with attention to detail and ability to multi-task, have strong team-orientation and interpersonal skills, flexibility and strong analytical skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite; demonstration influencing and negotiation skills; ability to prepare and present process related information for review with senior technology managers
- Strong communication and interaction skill set. Must be able to establish relationships and influence others; ability to work with different levels of management.
