Position Summary:
BRP’s Marketing & Communications team is seeking a high-energy cultural evangelist to lead and execute colleague communications and events across the firm. The Colleague Experience Specialist operates as the hub for BRP’s internal communications and culture initiatives, ensuring every BRPeep across the country has an awesome experience as part of the BRP family – from recruitment till retirement!
Principal Responsibilities:
- Owns the colleague journey experience, including internal communications and designs for culture initiatives across BRP
- Plans and executes internal events such as retreats, happy hours, spirit days, holidays, potlucks
- Serves as leader of our Colleagues In Action Program, which provides opportunities for wellness and community service involvement
- Works with Talent Scouting, digital and creative services teams to create online recruiting strategies and workplace brand awareness
- Provides support for:
- Recruiting events
- Learning library content/videos
- Presentations
- Colleague On-boarding
- Owns internal surveys process
- Assists Sr. leadership and partners with internal presentations and documents
- Owns Marketing SharePoint
- Manages budget for colleague experiences
- Other projects as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proven record of leading high visibility, scalable events and internal communications
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop
- Demonstrates high attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to operate under solid pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Effective project management and time management skills
- Experience writing and editing professional content
- Excellent social media and design skills
- 8+ years of marketing experience, preferably in the internal communications space
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Advertising, Marketing or related is preferred
- Demonstrates the organization’s core values, exuding behavior that is aligned with the firm’s culture
