Leasing Consultant

General Summary:

The Leasing Consultant for Office Space and Assistant Property Manager shall provide the marketing and leasing of commercial and multi-family properties and is directly responsible to implement marketing strategies which will attract rental prospects and then convert those prospects into a tenant.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Marketing and Leasing Initiatives
  • Create, maintain and verify accuracy of all brochures, promotional folders, web site and other marketing pieces (i.e. floor plans, property photos) to be utilized in the leasing of property.
  • Respond to inquiries (i.e. generated by telephone, internet, rental services, etc.) to produce resident visits to property.
  • Monitor inquiries and walk-in prospects at multi-family property by keeping a prospect log and follow-up with prospective residents.
  • Perform all steps of the leasing process including being the first contact, showing and demonstrating multi-family units and utilizing sale skills to rent the prospect a multi-family unit.
  • Coordinate and administer periodic resident socials and events.

Special Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in commercial industry preferred
  • Strong sales and closing skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with residents, staff, supervisors, vendors, etc.
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Self-Starter
  • Positive attitude
  • Ability to work well under pressure, multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including Saturday only

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Salary: $12.00 to $15.00 /hour

Education:
