This career position is located in our Atlanta Georgia Production Center with additional opportunities in our Clearwater/Tampa Florida office
The Commercial Mortgage Loan Processor (CMP) will report to the Operations Manager and CEO. Duties will include but not be limited to processing commercial real estate mortgage loans.
The CMP will review loan requests submitted to our patent pending lending portal and initiate receipt of, and organize, significant quantities of documentation for multiple transactions simultaneously. The CMP will prepare an analysis of financial background data for new or existing clients to determine qualifications and eligibility for loan programs and determine if they meet underwriting guidelines and criteria. The CMP must be able to analyze personal, corporate, and property financial statements. The CMP will also communicate and coordinate with underwriting, and closing Departments.
Essential Qualities and Qualifications
2+ years commercial real estate mortgage processing experience
Multi-tasking and superb organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Excellent interpersonal skills for productive interaction with multiple parties associated with each transaction
Adaptability to change and the ability to work well in a fast paced growing environment
Ability to have fun and keep a positive mental attitude in a high energy environment
Highly motivated; strong desire to learn
The ability to work independently with the knowledge of when to ask for guidance is required.
Computer Proficient
Maintain a current knowledge of the underwriting guidelines for all mortgage products offered by our lenders
Maintain compliance with company policies, proficiently comprehend investor guidelines, and recognize state and federal regulations
