Rossi Construction is a fast growing company located in Tampa Bay. We operate in the commercial and residential construction markets in new construction and remodeling. We are currently looking for a commercial drywall and metal framing Project Manager. We are looking for a person who is hungry and wants to succeed with a winning attitude.
The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing commercial drywall and metal framing projects as well as managing pricing, submittals, material procurement, and scheduling of awarded projects. The person will be responsible for acting as a project manager on their projects and the teams projects when required.
Qualifications Include:
-Knowledge of interior and exterior light gauge and structural metal framing, drywall, and acoustical systems.
– 7+ years of project management (experience within the drywall industry and metal framing industry a must). Bachelor’s degree in Building Construction is preferred. Estimating experience a plus
– Proficient in reading architectural and structural blueprints.
– Must be computer literate and have experience with estimating software. Knowledge of Planswift is a plus.
– Good verbal and written communication skills.
– Professional face to face customer interaction and sales involvement from initial contact through business closing.
– Must be able to excel under pressure and handle multiple projects at once.
-Detailed oriented a must
-Experience in Construction Management & Design Build Process
Daily Responsibilities
-Day to day management of construction projects
-Develop and maintain relationships with GCs and Supers.
-Schedule and order materials for projects
-Attend project meetings
-Schedule and obtain sub contractors.
-Oversee the construction project from start to finish.
-Develop project schedules, plan materials, and purchase orders, ensuring work is within project scope.
-Responsible for qualifying sub-contractor estimates and bids, performing project buyouts, and managing subcontractors’ progress against plan.
-Oversee the construction schedule, budget and insure project is completed within deadline and budget.
-Perform a key role in project planning, budgeting, and identification of resources needed.
-Project accounting functions including managing the budget, tracking of team expenses and minimizing exposure and risk in the project
-Ensure that construction activities move according to pre-determined schedule.
-Devise the project work plans and make revisions as and when need arises.
-Communicate effectively with the Sub-Contractors responsible for completing various phases of the project.
-Periodic inspection of construction sites.
-Ensure project documents are complete.
-Oversee and report progress and trouble shoot against construction schedules.
-Preparing any necessary work flow schedules and monitoring same to enable meeting of reporting deadlines.
-Develop and provide progress reports
-Develop strategies to promote efficient and cost effective work practices and monitor and analyze work practices and cost factors within the project team.

Pay: $80,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
