Job Description

One of our top clients in the Tampa area is looking for a skilled Property Accountant to join their team that has experience in the commercial real estate industry. Please see the below job description and qualifications

Job Description:

-Support corporate and affiliated businesses with accounting services for commercial properties

-Adhere to GAAP to perform various accounting functions for real estate and related service companies

-Preparation of general ledger reconciliations

-Conduct month end close procedures for managed properties

-Process AP/AR for properties

-Responsible for CAM reconciliations, lease abstracts, budgeting for commercial properties, tenant billing, monthly journal entries, preparation of monthly financial statements, etc.

Job Duties:

-5+ years’ commercial real estate accounting experience

-Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field strongly preferred

-Strong MS Excel skills including pivot tables and v look ups

-Working Knowledge of Yardi system preferred

-Knowledge of AMSI and/or Kardin property management software is a plus
