COMMERCIAL PROPERTY MANAGER
We’re looking for an experienced Property Manager for commercial shopping centers throughout
Florida. Must be detail oriented, have rent collection experience, at least five years industry experience, be able to work independently, and willing to travel.
The Property Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of commercial properties and tenant satisfaction. Duties include, but not limited to scheduling routine maintenance such as landscaping, porter service, fire alarm and sprinkler systems, and overseeing a team of maintenance vendors, and enforcing rental terms.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the day-to-day operations of multiple commercial retail and office properties.
- Oversees property maintenance contracts and vendors.
- Perform regular property site visits, monitor on-going maintenance.
- Monitor on-going construction projects.
- Prepare and manage annual operating budgets.
- Rent collections.
- Investigate and resolve tenant and vendor complaints and concerns.
- Prepare month-end owner reports.
- Negotiate lease extensions and expansions.
KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills for contact with property owners, tenants, and vendors.
- Excellent organization, written communication, and computer skills.
- Data compilation and analysis skills.
- Financial analysis knowledge and experience.
- Project management skills and experience.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Requirements:
- Florida Real Estate License
- 4-Year degree from an accredited college preferred, proven industry experience may be acceptable in lieu of degree
- Minimum 5 years of commercial property management experience
- Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays pursuant to industry demands
- Travel in State of Florida required
