Exciting opportunity for Commercial Real Estate/Land Use Paralegal to join a well-respected law firm. Kelly Legal Managed Services (KLMS) is actively recruiting an experienced Commercial Real Estate Paralegal with Land Use experience to support attorneys of an AV-rated law firm in Tampa, FL.
This is a direct hire position. Commercial Real Estate/Land Use Paralegal Job Responsibilities: Technical knowledge in land use, zoning and legal concepts related to development and planning activities Experience in review and processing of various land use applications Demonstrated experience in working with local government staff, officials, citizens, and nongovernmental organizations in the public zoning and planning process Knowledge of online applications Interact with clients in a professional manner Qualifications: Two to three years demonstrated experience as a land use paralegal in a mid- to large-size law firm; AND/OR Two to three years demonstrated experience in City and County planning including: Technical knowledge in land use, zoning and legal concepts related to development and planning activities;
Experience in review and processing of various land use applications; Demonstrated experience in working with local government staff, officials, citizens, and nongovernmental organizations in the public zoning and planning process; AICP Certification desired, but not required. Candidates must be motivated, have strong written and verbal communication skills, client-oriented focus, professional demeanor, initiative, analytical thinking, attention to detail and organizational skills. Candidates must also have solid computer skills, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
