Well, respected law firms in the Tampa Bay area are seeking to hire a Commercial Real Estate Legal Assistant (3 years of experience) and Commercial Real Estate Paralegal (5+ years of experience) to join their growing practice group.
The ideal candidates will possess strong attention to detail, an eye for detail, and understand contract law and commercial real estate transactions from purchase/sale through post-closing, including disbursement of proceeds.
Experience working with high-volume transactions, handling amendments to contracts, preparing affidavits, closing statements, recording documents, reviewing title and surveys, and clearing exceptions, coordinating due diligence, issuing title policy, handling deeds, and other property/closing related documents as required. Preparing and following protocol for closing checklists and confirming all files are accurate, including closing binders (paper/electronic) for the firm and all parties involved, including lenders.
Assistance in the areas of commercial purchase and sale transactions, leasing, land development, finance, mergers and acquisitions, and zoning/land use well as assisting with Condo Association foreclosures.
Corporate experience encompassing preparation of corporate resolutions, entity formation/organizational documents, and other transactional documents is essential for one of these positions.
Education: (Legal Assistant) College degree is a plus, must have at least 2 years of experience working as a Commercial Real Estate Legal Assistant. (Paralegal Position)
Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of experience working as a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal or Loan Closer.
Technology skills should include FileSite, SimpliFile, MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), electronic filing (State and Federal), document management systems, case management systems, and general office equipment.
