CBRE is looking for a Commercial Real Estate Researcher in Wayne, Pennsylvania.
Responsibilities
Opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with a strong ability in numbers and Excel to grow in the commercial real estate research field. As a researcher, you will focus on a major property type for the Greater Philadelphia region, collecting and providing data to support our sales professionals and the research department. Supported with your abundant data, help to identify trends and conduct analysis for publication in periodic reports.
Key Responsibilities
Researches and collects market information regarding the commercial real estate market. Gathers data on newly available properties, transactions, tenants, tenants in the market, and new developments and inputs data into appropriate databases.
Continuously updates informational databases by interacting, and building relationships, with sales professionals, on-site surveys, extracting data from brochures and other marketing materials, contacting civic organizations, outside agents, internet sources, and other sources.
Implements Research processes to assure data quality is in accordance with corporate standards. Maintains accurate property and availability information relating to all properties managed by CBRE entities.
Helps create frequent market reports in support of management and marketing activities of sales professionals.
Strives for knowledge expertise in trends, trades, and market indicators regarding a property sector within Greater Philadelphia.
Minor travel to local offices throughout the region.
Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; or Associate degree and two or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong mathematical and numerical skills, particularly in relation to using Excel.
High degree of attention to detail required for accurate database management.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.
Requires knowledge of basic financial terms and principles, ideally supplemented by a rudimentary knowledge of economics.
Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office Suite. Positive work attitude and ability to work in a team environment.
