| Based in Tampa, this position provides research support and assistance to the Tampa brokerage and property management team. Performs certain regular tasks around the facilitation of research-related needs in all Florida markets, supports the team’s collection and analysis of core data as well as the production and delivery of research material.
Serves as an authority on research tools, databases and processes. Responds to ad hoc Client requests for data, graphs, commentary, etc. Participates in maintenance for the accuracy of property and availability information relating to all properties managed by Equity. Strong project management. Can oversee multiple projects, determine priorities and develop a through-line to completion including harnessing the right resources and collaborating along the way. Ability to work in a matrixed environment. Team player. Able to work across Marketing, Administrative, Operations and local leadership to achieve collective goals and create exponential results. Strong technical skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and amenable to learning/overseeing technologies and systems related to data collection, extraction and tracking. Demonstrates an enthusiasm for learning new skills, tools and processes. Must have an incredible eye for detail as well as understanding how those details impact the larger picture. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree from four-year college/university; or Associate degree with a minimum of two years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information. Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts and/or commissions. Conducts basis financial analysis. Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills. Ability to handle and manipulate large amounts of data. Possesses a positive work attitude and ability to work in a team environment. Experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) a PLUS!
