Job Description
The Multifamily Capital Group (MFC) specializes in providing permanent financing for multifamily properties and healthcare facilities using the programs of the Federal Housing Administration (FHA), Fannie Mae, & Freddie Mac and our balance sheet including a direct purchase tax exempt housing bond program. Our veteran bankers are experienced with the various loan programs offered, and as one of the top multifamily loan servicers we remain committed to providing superior customer service before, during and after loan closing.
Responsible for handling all aspects of a transaction and will assist in negotiations of pricing and structuring of financings.
Duties to include: Preparing investment proposals for senior staff Structuring and executing transactions for senior staff Working with a senior team member in structuring loans and preparing recommendations for the most critical/complex relationships Performs financial analysis, research, underwriting and due diligence related to Commercial Mortgage transactions. Develops and maintains knowledge of loan products and provides market intelligence to maintain competitive edge. Work independently to provide written analysis on risk and mitigates of prospective transactions as well as the ability to communicate written conclusions Keep senior team members abreast of important issues relating to loan portfolio Appropriately initiate loan grades and maintain appropriate loan grading during the term of the credit Coordinate critical path items such as appraisal engagement, costing and engineering reviews, environmental reviews, and credit investigations on new transactions Complete and update financial reviews for borrowers and guarantors at the time of new credit request and as needed for ongoing relationships Conduct initial review of new lending opportunities and prepare term sheets and letters of interest Underwrite credit requests and complete approval documents and other supporting documentation for new loan requests, extensions and modifications

They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following, and adhering to all applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements . Required Qualifications

5+ years of relationship management experience, commercial real estate experience, or a combination of both Desired Qualifications

Experience developing and maintaining client relationships
Experience generating revenue and actively participating in the successful completion of complex transactions
Ability to apply sound judgment in the application of analytical conclusions to credit approval, structure, and management recommendations
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills Other Desired Qualifications 5+ years credit loan experience with multifamily real estate Balance Sheet lending experience in multifamily housing Senior Housing Underwriting experience Sponsor Review Analysis Microsoft Office – Word, Excel Financial modeling experience Highly motivated & self starter High level of attention to detail Disclaimer
