Avocat Group has an opening for a Commercial Real Estate Transaction Manager for our growing team. We’re looking for a strategic thinker, with an interest in corporate real estate, who can serve on the critical front lines in helping our staff and clients compare various options to lease, buy or build commercial real estate. The right candidate will have experience with Excel and Google Sheets formulas. This role reports directly to the Director of Transaction Services and has the opportunity to make a direct impact on Avocat Group’s explosive growth. In this role you will learn to identify the real estate opportunities for lease or for sale for our corporate users, quantify and compare facility options, understand their decision process, and make recommendations so that we can find them the optimal solution.

Qualifications: 4 Yr Degree or better, Accounting, Finance, or Real Estate preferred Relevant Work Experience: Commercial real estate, Lease administration, Paralegal in a law office and/or Business finance/accounting Skills/Personality Required: Tech-Savvy, Self-disciplined, Motivated, Good communication skills Compensation: Base + team bonus Here’s what we need you to do: • Analyze real estate opportunities for our client’s businesses • Connect with landlord and seller brokers to gather and organize information • Prepare market availability reports • Perform financial comparisons • Schedule and attend property tours and inspections • Participate in client meetings and present data • Prepare proposals and purchase offers • Review lease documents and purchase contracts • Research property tax and zoning information • Help to quantify the risks or surprises that can happen in a commercial transaction • Identify opportunities to restructure or renegotiate leases • Track team metrics and create reports • Use our tools for managing real estate portfolios and transactions in progress • Identify and develop new processes to streamline data entry and reporting • Perform industry and market research •
