Job Summary:
Commercial Services Sales Representatives generate and develop national, regional and local commercial title business for their Commercial Services Center. Commercial Services Sales Representatives are accountable for a comprehensive book of commercial business which contributes to producing revenue for the company. Responsibilities include prospecting for new clients, developing client relationships, advising clients on the introduction and use of services, maintaining customer relationships, servicing the customer’s needs throughout the entire transaction, as well as following up for future business.
Responsibilities:
- Generate, develop and retain new commercial business with entities with significant real estate holdings for the Commercial Services Center
- Understanding of market and competition with the ability to identify external opportunities and threats
- Coordinate sales and marketing efforts with Regional Sales Director and Commercial Services Manager
- Coordinate optimum customer service between national commercial customers and commercial closers
- Maintain customer information in in Salesforce or the company’s designated customer relationship management system
- Attend relevant industry trade shows as a representative of Stewart Title Commercial Services
- Have regular scheduled meetings with Regional Sales Director and Commercial Services Manager to review progress on achieving agreed upon sales and production goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Regional Sales Director and Commercial Services Manager
Measures:
- Prepare annual sales plan to be reviewed quarterly
- Prepare a detailed business development monthly activity report in the company’s designated program.
- Achieve personal sales and profit targets as directed by the Regional Sales Director
- Complete expense reports and other paperwork required by the company in a timely and efficient manner
Qualifications
- Title Sales and Marketing Experience
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals
- Knowledge and understanding of commercial real estate
- Applicable knowledge of products and services, business plans, customer requirements, and market demands for the assigned Commercial Services Center
- Self-starter, highly motivated, and has a strong work ethic
- Ability to travel and visit client/business locations sometimes involving overnight travel
- Persuasive selling and closing skills sufficient to influence customers and create sales opportunities
- Maintain a professional appearance, professional attitude and provide a positive company image to the public
- Excellent conflict resolution and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
- Working knowledge of MS Office sufficient
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience and knowledge in the commercial title industry.
