Education: Minimum High School Diploma/GED, or one to three months related experience and/or training
Description – The Assistant Manager is primarily responsible for supporting the Community Manager/Administrator in the general administration and physical operation of the community. A strong emphasis should be placed on marketing and leasing of the community in order to ensure that an acceptable rental occupancy level is maintained.
Experience required in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel and Outlook. Must be friendly, a fast learner and self-motivated.

- Ability to conduct yourself, both at work and off duty, in a manner that does not adversely affect the image of the Community.
- Must have valid driver’s license, proper automobile liability insurance and dependable transportation that is in good operating condition.
- Ability to maintain a professional image and attitude in keeping with the objectives of the Community and the residents’ welfare.
- Ability to respect residents’ privacy and maintain confidentiality of all aspects of Community business.
- Ability to work with others. Ability to lead and motivate others in the absence of the On-site Manager/Administrator. The ability and willingness to accept and follow the directions of others.
- Possession of character traits of honesty, dependability, courtesy and cooperativeness.
- Ability to comply with all governmental laws and regulations, including, but not limited to, fair housing, environmental and safety laws and regulations.
- Ability to comply with all community policies and procedures.
- Must be able to communicate well with residents and applicants orally and in writing. Some responsibilities include filing, answering phones, processing applications and backing up the manager with other day-to-day tasks
- Above-average computer and organization skills are required.
- Must pass drug and background screening.
