Channelside Management LLC is a private real estate development and management firm with offices in the United States. We are currently seeking to hire a full-time Community Association Manager to join our team at Channelside Place, Tampa, FL.

The Community Association Manager will be responsible for the following:

  • Organize board & membership meetings, and attend monthly & annual board meeting, along with membership meeting. Responsible for leading Board of Director meetings.
  • Supervise the day-to-day activities of the maintenance and other building staff as well as contract services
  • Conduct both periodic regular property inspections & formal site inspections as required in compliance with established standard operating policies and procedures.
  • Oversee repairs, architecture alterations and capital improvements, as required, in compliance with local codes.
  • Identify, discuss, plan, and negotiate with vendors to complete all necessary capital improvement projects
  • Responsible for the efficient and timely reporting, maintenance and submission of all administrative forms, files and reports.
  • Monitor collections and coordinate default proceedings
  • Coordinates with property owners to ensure that objectives are being met
  • Ensure compliance with Property Management Policies and Procedures, codes, regulations, and governmental agency directives.
  • Develop operating budgets, track variances, oversee the completion of CAM reconciliations, and ensure smooth recovery process
  • Provide and foster positive relationships with owners, external and internal clients
  • Prepare mass communication by email and by posting.
  • Other duties as assigned.

As the Community Association Manager, you will also possess the following qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in on-site property management, 1 year experience as Community Association Manager
  • CAM license is not required to apply, but will be required to obtain within 6 months of employment
  • Strong computer and technical skills specifically in MS Office Suite, Yardi
  • Basic understanding of budgets, financials and audits
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to work under pressure to achieve deadlines
  • Ability to think on your feet and thrive in a an independent client driven environment
  • Excellent analytical skills and detail oriented.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Self-starter who can effectively work with minimal supervision when required
  • Ambitious, energetic, decisive & hard-working
  • Ability and willingness to learn and grow professionally
  • Must be available on weekends for staffing needs and emergencies
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance
