Salary Up To $48,000 Depending on Experience
An award-winning residential real estate company seeks a hands-on team leader with extensive background in all phases of construction and facilities maintenance to join our team in St. Petersburg, FL. Must have excellent proactive maintenance skills as well as demonstrated leadership experience. Must have a minimum of 2 years residential maintenance experience.
Successful candidate will be an energetic self-starter with exceptional communication skills, ability to work well with residents and management, and possess a commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining physical condition of property according to Company operating and safety procedures
Including maintenance on:
Clubhouse
Electrical Utility Systems
General Grounds / Landscaping
Pool and spa
Irrigation
Basic Plumbing/Sewer
Basic Electrical
Roof/Gutter/ Sidewalk Repairs
- Read, Install and Regulate Gas Meters
- Organize Prioritize and direct completion of service requests and ensure that repairs are performed correctly and in a timely manner.
- Teach and promote safe work practices / OSHA familiarity preferred
- Communicate effectively and professionally with residents and staff members
- Purchase supply orders and monitor inventory of parts and supplies
- Contract negotiation / buyout
- Maintain vehicle, appliance, equipment records and warrantee’s
- Maintain PM schedules
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 yrs residential maintenance experience
- Knowledge of basic electrical utilities a must
- Knowledge of Gas Meters and plumbing skills a plus
- Pool certified (or willing to obtain certification)
- Good driving and criminal record
- General Carpentry/Handyman Skills
- General Landscape Knowledge
- Available to work flexible hours, including weekends
- Organized with good communication skills
- Computer skills
