Responsibilities
We are seeking a Community Manager to join our fast-growing Content and Social Media team. This new position will play a key role in improving Ideal Image’s reputation and creating a strong and engaged community across all Ideal Image social media, review, and employment sites. This person will be responsible for building a comprehensive strategy to grow brand awareness, build trust, drive engagement and conversion, and improve the client experience within these channels. The ideal candidate has a strong background in community building, a passion for creating engaging and original content, and a customer service mindset.
Own growth and engagement strategies across all social media channels, review sites, and employment channels. Develop strategies to drive positive interactions and reviews across all channels
· Manage all community communications — ensuring accuracy in branding, positioning, and style across all managed channels
· Develop data-driven social media content and outreach strategies to meet marketing goals for channel growth and sales conversion. Oversee Social Media Contractor responsible for execution
· Oversee community moderation activities
· Manage a team of 3+ Community Moderators responsible for monitoring, responding to, and resolving customer inquiries, comments, and concerns on social platforms and review sites in a timely manner, with 7 day/week coverage
· Refine community management guidelines and offer a strong point of view on the rules of engagement
· Consolidate and share client feedback trends internally to help identify areas for improvement and highlight brand strengths. Gather testimonials/reviews for social proof
· Collaborate with Talent Acquisition team to ensure recruiting tactics and employment branding within these channels align with broader community goals and engagement guidelines
· Determine, monitor, and report on channel-specific and community-wide KPIs – tying tactical success to business objectives and ROI
· Maintain a strong understanding of industry and audience behavior to action on real-time trends and surface relevant insights and opportunities. Identify emerging platforms; and opportunities to improve engagement, support practices, team process and efficiency.
Qualifications
Education/Training:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
· Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification (must be active)
Experience:
· 3+ years experience in in social media, community management, or similar role
· Prior experience monitoring and leading discussions and/or providing customer service support required.
· Hands on experience growing and moderating online communities, and developing content strategies for social media, review, and employment channels
· Management experience preferred
Technical or Administrative Knowledge:
· Expert-level knowledge of social media, review, and employment channels. Channels may include Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, Google, Yelp, BBB, Glassdoor, Indeed
· Expert-level knowledge of community management platforms (Sprinklr, Hootsuite, or similar) and community management and automation capabilities
· Proficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite

· Customer service minded, and demonstrates strong emotional intelligence, empathy, listening skills, and adaptability. Good judgement and problem-solving skills
· Stays up to date with developments, changes and trends in the social landscape
· Highly organized and detail oriented, with the ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced, changing environment
· Strategy-minded and can see the full picture of how social content impacts overall goals and help provide recommendations to meet them
