Position Summary

Work directly with the Board of Directors and Developer to ensure the successful operation of the Community. Includes the development and implementation of programs, projects, and activities designed to meet the needs of the members. Executes the essential function of CAM/Property Manager responsibilities when on duty.

Responsible for all Club maintenance and service for the club. ManagesOversees all aspects of the Food and Beverage Department including service and production with assistance of the Food & Beverage Manager. Assures that the needs of the members and guests are always exceeded.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Delivers and promotes prompt, courteous and outgoing friendly service to all residents, guests and fellow employees.
  • Direct and coordinate the activities of staff and contract personnel and evaluate their performance.
  • Plans and implements strategies to meet club needs.
  • Conducts tours for prospective members and orientations for new members.
  • Promotes club activities through various types of media such as websites, newsletters, and emails.
  • Serves on applicable club committees to assure that members’ interests are consistently addressed.
  • Tracks the success (performance) of all membership activities.
  • Coordinates the development of social activities/calendar for the club.
  • A source of positive energy and enthusiasm.
  • Assists in the development of social activities/flyers and calendars for the club.
  • Must be comfortable running activities on a microphone in front of a crowd.
  • Investigate complaints, disturbances and violations and resolve problems following management rules and regulations.
  • Inspect grounds, facilities, and equipment routinely to determine necessity of repairs or maintenance.
  • Solicit and analyze bids from contractors for repairs, renovations, and maintenance.
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate general maintenance, major repairs, and remodeling or construction projects for commercial or residential properties.
  • Maintain records of sales, rental or usage activity, special permits issued, maintenance and operating costs, or property availability.
  • Meet with prospective tenants to show properties, explain terms of occupancy, and provide information about local areas.
  • Manage and oversee operations, maintenance, administration, and improvement of commercial, industrial, or residential properties.
  • Direct collection of monthly assessments, rental fees, and deposits and payment of insurance premiums, mortgage, taxes, and incurred operating expenses.
  • Purchase building and maintenance supplies, equipment, or furniture.
  • Prepare and administer contracts for provision of property services such as cleaning, maintenance, and security services.
  • Maintain contact with insurance carriers, fire and police departments, and other agencies to ensure protection and compliance with codes and regulations.
  • Prepare detailed budgets and financial reports for properties.
  • Act as liaisons between on-site managers or tenants and owners.
  • Confer regularly with community association members to ensure their needs are being met.
  • Clean common areas, change light bulbs, and make minor property repairs.
  • Meet with boards of directors and committees to discuss and resolve legal and environmental issues or disputes between neighbors
  • Performs daily cash reconciliation.
  • Prepares annual and monthly budgets for Club and F&B operations.
  • Assures the effective orientation and training of all new staff and ensures that professional development activities for experienced staff are implemented.
  • Monitors and takes corrective action as necessary to assure that budgeted sales and costs are attained.
  • Ensures that all safety, sanitation, and other standards are consistently met.
  • Helps plan and promotes activities for the dining operations.
  • Schedules staff for all positions under his/her supervision.
  • Coordinates with the Regional General Manager and Corporate Food & Beverage Director in the planning and development of menus.
  • Ensures that all legal requirements are met for clubhouse operations, including but not limited to: wage and hour and federal, state, and/or local laws pertaining to alcoholic beverages.
  • Recruits and hires staff for operations.
  • Consults with the Regional General Manager and Corporate Food & Beverage Director to assure the highest level of member satisfaction at minimum cost.
  • Greets guests and oversees actual service on a routine basis.
  • Monitors the ordering and receiving of products related to clubhouse operations.
  • Develop on-going training programs.
  • Continually works to ensure correct handling procedures to minimized breakage and waste.
  • Handles member complaints and report all complaints to the Regional General Manager and Corporate Food & Beverage Director.
  • Oversees the Catering/Private Party business.
  • Assures function sheets are reviewed with the Corporate Food & Beverage Director and service staff weekly.
  • Assists Regional General Manager and Corporate Food & Beverage Director in the preparation of food/beverage operations budgets.
  • Any other duties related to the operation of the Club and Food & Beverage department as deemed appropriate by the Regional General Manager.

Education/Certificates/Licenses/Training
High School Diploma required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Must have an active and current CAM License. Must obtain any required local and state licenses or certifications.
Experience/Background/Knowledge
Previous Property Management experience requested but not required for exceptional candidate. Must have working knowledge of Florida Statues as it relates to HOAs, CDDs, etc. Previous management experience in the food and beverage industry preferred. Knowledge of fine dining preferred. Proven leadership experience is mandatory

Ability to communicate effectively with managers, residents, guests and employees in one-on-one and small group situations in a fast paced environment. Ability to motivate and develop employees.
