The Community Manager is the CEO of the business. As Community Manager you will lead, motivate, and mentor your team to provide a world-class living experience. As the onsite leader and decision maker, you will be responsible for successfully driving occupancy, NOI, hiring and staff development.

Additional qualifications include:
- Exceptional sales and closing experience, preferably in student-housing markets
- Minimum of 3-4 years multi-family and/or off campus student-housing management experience
- Student housing background strongly preferred
- Possess the skills to effectively recruit, train and coach for exceptional sales experience
- Excellent customer service skills, and ability to role model and lead Team Members to perform to this level of excellence
- Strong technical skills, including Excel and property management software Experience with Yardi Voyager a plus!
- Dynamic leasing and marketing background, with the ability to foster creative ideas for increased traffic and ancillary income
- A can-do attitude with the tenacity to get the job done!
- A college degree or related multi-family experience
- Proven ability to perform in all areas of Property Management
- Floating schedule, to include weekends and evenings
Requirements include, but are not limited to the following:
Strategic Leasing Management:
- Exceptional leasing skills, maintaining a minimum 30% closing ratio at all times
- Networking and desire to interact with others is a must
- Effectively maintain product knowledge of community and competitive communities through consistent evaluation of market conditions and trends. Ensure leasing staff develops similar knowledge
- Showcase very strong closing skills and tactful follow up skills
- Possess relentless motivation to the team
- Effectively show, lease, and move in prospective residents
- Direct efforts to implement sales and marketing plans, which effectively maximize rental income and budgeted occupancy
Personnel Management :
- Ability to recruit, manage, develop and support elite onsite leasing team to meet and exceed leasing goals.
- Effectively perform and document appropriate employee events, to include: evaluations, performance reviews and coaching actions as required.
Financial Management:
- Achieve the highest possible net operating income through the implementation of effective cost control and revenue improvement programs; identify trends and recommend appropriate strategies and adjustments.
- Accurately prepare and convey all operational and financial data to the Regional Community Manager and Marketing Director in a timely manner. Be responsive and receptive to owners’ needs, goals, objectives and ever-changing market conditions.
